The whole game runs in the page. It works in any modern browser on a computer, a tablet or a phone, and it keeps working if your connection drops, because the computer opponent plays on your device.

There is no account to make and no email to give. Your match in progress is kept on your device, so you can close the tab and come back to it.

Ways to play

Play the computer at Easy or Normal level, or pass and play: two people on one device, taking turns.

Playing a friend online with a link is coming soon. Until then, pass and play works well at a table or on a sofa.

Real backgammon

OneGammon plays the full standard rules: hitting and the bar, bearing off, gammons and backgammons. Choose a single game or a match to 3, 5 or 7 points, with or without the doubling cube. In matches the Crawford rule is applied for you.

Made to be easy on the eyes

The checkers are big and easy to tap. Tap a checker and the points it can reach are marked. Forced moves are played for you, and you can undo your own moves until your turn ends.
